That's a lot of detail, great job! I really like the ice crystals or whatever they're called. As for the anathomy I luv the wings, they look big and muscular-which would probablyy be needed for such a big creature- and the tail looks really neat too. The neck also lloks very nice, and I like the fact that it doesn't seem too thin for such a large body, but rather also looks strong and balanced. It would have been great with a slightly darker shading though, mainly 'cause of the many tiny scales- especially in the face where the mouth kinda blends in a bit too much with the scales. But other than that I think you've done a great job on this!

^^ Well it's usually easier when it's something of the same medium or style that you're used to, but in general most pics consists of the same things:
Composition, anathomy, light/shadow, Colouring etc... then some things may vary too of course. Like a couple of days ago when someone sent me a thumb with a croched (is that how it's spelled?) bird. I know nothing about crochetting but I can see what someone has put effort into

I like how the icicles form his (her?) beard. Pretty sneaky to hide the difficult scaling on the haunches behind the wing. That's my most problem area. Like always, I am in constant awe of your patience with the scales.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Makes a change to get such a detailed comment
I always have that problem with mouths, I made that one slightly spikey and then had difficulty shading it properly.
